Established in 1999:

The Fremont Avenue is shown in this 1999 picture with the art deco ferry Kalakala  and in the far background a bit of the Skansonia ferry on Lake Union.

A national search for a combination tour boat and charter boat in 1999 turned up one vessel, our boat the Fremont  Avenue located in Cleveland Ohio. 

The boat was built in Michigan in 1985 as a U.S. Coast Guard certified small passenger vessel. This means that the boat  may carry passengers for hire as a tour boat, charter boat or ferry boat.

The boat was dis-assembled and trucked to Seattle where it's 30 tons of steel were re-assembled, inspected and re-certified by the Coast Guard.

The Fremont Avenue is on a Lake Union tour schedule every  Sunday year round know  as the Sunday Ice Cream Cruise. See www.SeattleFerryService.com for schedule.
